Long story short, bought an ebay car last week, all paid for, v5 signed and ready to go (but a non runner so needs recovery)

Got a reasonable quote from Shiply, the recovery agent is a one man band but with very high positive feedback.

He's had some contact with the seller and was going to collect it last week but didnt want to because of the weather. He told the seller he might collect this weekend and told me he might collect monday or tuesday.

Im worried time is getting on, i have a fully paid for car with a v5 in my name still sat on the sellers drive as it has been for the last 7 days. The driver has had a deposit through paypal as is requested by shiply.

Suggestions? Bearing in mind this snow might last months, im unwilling to leave the car on someones driveway 3 hours away until 2011!

speak to seller to reassure him, speak to agent to try and pin him down.

it'll be fine!

ETA: Used them last Jan in the snow to transport a non-runner. Chap turned up with a 6 car transporter, couldn't get down our road so helped me push the car 200 yards down the road to his transporter!

I have used it before no problems.
I use it for customers trailers alot.
Doesn't sound like a Shiply prob more like a weather prob.
Should be ok.
