Hello folks,

Been trying to play the PH favourite Theme Hospital for the last few days on my laptop, which runs on Windows 7.

After a few minutes of play however, the colours go completely off, sort of overly bright and vibrant and blurry. While the game runs fine in itself, I find this makes it completely unplayable!

I have tried making it run in Windows 95 compatibility mode, but it doesn't seem to make any difference, as well as putting in low-res rather than hi-res mode.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, I used to fking love this game!

Had it for years, since I actually had a Windows 95 computer!

Just downloaded an open source clone of TH - hoping this will work, seems to get to the menu without any issues at all, so we will see.

Is that the aero effects having a whine? Could you try alt+tab'ing out to see if a dialog box has popped up asking to change the scheme?

In the compatibility mode options try telling it to run in 256 colour mode.

It'll be using a pre-set 'palette' of colours, and something is going to be upsetting that.

Thanks guys, but I got the clone to work. It's called CorsixTH, however you do need all the files from Theme Hospital for it to work (copied over from the disc I had).

Works an absolute treat though!

Ok I have the game up and running, took less than 10 mins. Got the game files from here http://www.bestoldgames.net/download/bgames/theme-... and then used https://code.google.com/p/corsix-th/ to make it run properly on my computer. Off to play for a bit.
