Hi All,

My wife and I are about to start a home renovation project (fingers crossed the purchase goes through) which will include a large day room. This will be created by knocking the kitchen into the dinning room etc. Nothing new there hey!

However, we have seen some great textured panels in a few retail stores and would love to use them to create a feature wall. Please see below images.

Can anyone advise where we could buy such panels as so far the usual google search has only returned American companies and it would be great to use a uk retailer...

the top one I have fitted at M & S cafe Revive, I think it is sculptured mdf and big money if I remember rightly. I can find out on Monday how much it costs, not sure about the other panels though.

I like the last one (a lot) but I would be converting the binary code into hexadecimal and my coffee would get cold.

Did you consider the use of non smooth surfaces in a kitchen may not be practical.

I think somewhere like Bella by BA in Ireland / Doncaster will do things like the first one. I have seen the same pattern on an MDF replacement door feature they do. They vynly foil wrap them also, so you can get some great finishes.

What sizes? Well I think they can go farily large stuff, the weight will be an issue for handling though! !

We had a similar idea recently, and could only find 2 UK suppliers. Most of these panels come in a standard 8' x 4' size, and we finally realised that due to the configuration of our house, we couldn't get a whole panel though the door. You can cut them, but I don't think getting them to match back up would be easy, so we binned the idea. Got a couple of samples from the first company though. Very approximate pricing was £200 - £400 plus vat, much depending on the actual design, and the finish. Base pricing is for panels in a raw state, which may need sanding before paint etc., which would not be easy on some of these designs, so the costs to buy a painted panel would increase.

Wow some stunning stuff on their website!

If anyone can help I am trying to make a chandelier like the one in Next in Meadowhall that hangs between the escalators. I did email Next but it was a bespoke item so they can't give me a supplier. Having trouble sourcing clear glass baubles (not Xmas tree baubles) with the eyelet made out of the same blown glass as the body.

That's great info, thank you very much!
We should be okay with getting the panels in, it will (like most things) just come down to price...

We can supply you with a range of wall textured panels. See www.Textures3Dpanels.com. The panels are in stock for immediate delivery in a double primed & double sanded finish. All our MDF panels are made to California CARB4 standards which requires no formaldehyde. We discount for shipments to Europe and shipping costs by ocean are on the average about $400 for 6-10 panels. We also supply a range of water based metallic finishes in 120 colors.

The top one features on the walls of Peter Barlows bookies in Coronation Street.

Does that make them more appealing?

Try a search for Acoustic Panels. I am about to resurface our cinema room and there is a very wide choice of acoutic panels available (at great price variation) with many profile/finish options from UK suppliers.
