I've been in a LOT of pubs in Glasgow but I can't think of any with nice coal fires that you can site beside. Can the clever people of Pistonheads come up with a list???

Does the Scotia Bar still have a log-fire?

I think Uisge Beatha on Woodlands has open fires too actually. I was pretty wasted when I was there though!

The Belle on Gt Western Road (just a couple of blocks before it meets Byres Road). Brilliant wee pub with Anchor Steam on draught, too.

Rab Ha’s still has a fire, but it’s a gas one these days (rubbish!)

Erm...sorry..... you were obviously clobbered! hehe ...also ..it's shut for refurb.

Ben Nevis on Argyle St is cosy.

There was a roaring fire outside a pub I passed going through Possil on Saturday night - looked mighty cosy with everyone watching the blaze drinking orange punch out of two litre bottles...... what's that all about then?

Babbity's in the Merchant City does, although it's not a huge fire.

Lovely food too and normally have a guest ale or two on...

Kenny told me about it. Reckons the fact them ladies have lost all their teeth means the experience is much more to his liking... eek

Any others then? At this rate I think I should start a register of pubs with fires across the central belt!

They might get upset if you move a chair to sit near the fire though.
