M62 E/B Jct 24 Roadworks - Cameras - Limit?

Passed through the roadworks eastbound before Jct 24 on the M62 today and was pretty sure no speed restriction signs were displayed and certainly at the end of the works no NSL signs or 'End' signs were displayed. Therefore no limit was in force? One of the three cameras had a not in use sign facing the traffic, the other three had the signs attached but facing the other way, maybe blown around. I bloody well hope so as passed through at 75-80mph.

I am hoping that the works there are finished and they are packing up.

Anyone passed through this stretch or passing through who can check?

West-bound is still limited to 50mph.

They are just setting up. I'm 90% sure they aren't live yet. They've had the signs on for a few weeks now

I hope so! Would explain why the NSL/End signs aren't up yet. I think W/B must have started earlier?

Guess I'll find out for sure in next few weeks.

Went past today and restriction signs were up as were NSL and End signs, so hopefully they hadn't started or the limits are off at weekends and nights
