*Another* fecking Eunos!

Since owning my Integra i've only owned crap; an Astra van, Smart car, Saab 900 SE and a few fixer-upper Peugeot 206, Ford Ka, Ford Fiesta with knackered engines, etc. I wanted something fun again, something to fuss over and keep shiney (err..).
Purely because of PH I thought i'd have a look at an MX5. I read up on them and saw it's popular to put a Mini supercharger in one. That sounds like a good project. I set out looking for a Black 1.8 import. I went to see probably 5-6, all were absolute rubbish. I decided to widen my search to 1.6's. I only had a budget of 1500 at the most. I went to see what was soon be become my car in a supermarket carpark at night. Even in the dodgy light I could see there was no rust on it anywhere that I could see and arranged another viewing; in the light. In the end I got it for £1350 which i was very happy with considering the condition of it.
I've sorted out whatever mechanical problems I could find and fitted a few choice modifications:
Plugs
Leads
Oil + Filter
Air filter (K&N Cone type. I had one on my civic and I LOVE the noise).
New alternator to fix a squeak (which soon developed a squeak, so number 2 was put on shortly after).
Silenced Decat pipe (Nice pops, thuds + bangs now
)
Front strut brace
Front lower brace bar
Clutch slave cylinder
PH Sticker
MK3 radio aerial
1.8 brakes (bigger disks, yellow stuff pads), HEL rear and goodrich front braided hoses
New mohair hood with heated rear window (should probably run some power to that at some point..)
IL Motorsports stainless exhaust (being fitted next weekend or this week after work).
320mm steering wheel (i'm a bit lanky and kept hitting my hand on my knees in.. times of hurried steering ;D).
Fitted my headunit and replaced the knackered headrest speakers.
And that's about it. I don't think there's much more i'm going to do to it to be honest. Couple of paint touch ups, pull a tiny tiny dent (on the bonnet which keep catching my eye) and touch up some rust proofing (denitronol in the arches).

And I love it.

I've got the standard exhaust on mine at the moment and when i first put the decat on, it didn't make much difference. It's got louder as time's gone on though.
It's a bit more droney but it really comes alive when you boot it, few pops + bangs. It good. Definatly worth it for 20 odd quid.

Finally managed to get round to fitting the exhaust and lower strut brace today then went for a topless spin to cheddar.
The exhaust (IL Motorsports stainless) is lovely. Bit boomy at low revs and possibly a bit too loud but i'm happy for what i paid for it.
The lower strut brace - bloody hell what a difference. I put a top brace on the other day which did sod all but this is night and day. Alot stiffer at the front, doesn't wallow as much and just feels much tighter. For the £20 or whatever it was, defiantly recommended. On the look out for a rear lower brace now. Back feels a bit soft now compared.
