Help Please - Aberdeen P&J (last week)
Discussion
I'd be really grateful if anyone can help me with this.
This last few days, we've been away in Pitlochry.
Apparently, there was a wee bit about Steph's late father in the P&J one day this week.
I've dug out all of this week's P&J's from our recycling bag but I can't find anything.
If someone saw it, I'd really appreciate it if they could let me know what day it was in - and what edition they had ... even better, if it could be scanned and emailed to me, that would be brilliant.
Steph's dad's name was "Captain Stanislaw Adamaszek". I'm told there was a picture in the P&J.
I've had a look on the P&J website but can't find anything.
Thanks,
Eric

Thanks folks.
The way I understand it is that; there was a dedicated article about him during the week.
He was a remarkable man and one of many that we should be grateful to for our freedom.
In 1939, his mother told him to "run" from their home in Poland when the invading German forces were getting close.
The stories between then and him, latterly, sitting in his comfy armchair in Garthdee will boggle your mind ... I'll share them later but will have to check that Steph is ok with that.
Cheers,
Eric
