D520 530D Efficient Dynamics

Hi guys,

I'm driving myself nuts looking for a 530D.
The fuel economy is a big concern, it is a heavy car,
and a friend of mine who has one, says they are heavy on diesel.

Which brings me to the Efficient Dynamics lark, (which I can't find any of in the classified section)

Does this ED stuff actually work? what type of economy will the 520D and 530D return,
and can I get either for about 10K sterling?

To start with can you confirm whether it is a 5 or 3 series you are interested in as the link is for a 3 series and you are writing about a 5 series?

If it is a 5 series my E60 530D M Sport remapped returns 37 mpg on a run and 30ish around town.

Not sure about the 520D but have heard reports of upto 50mpg
