Got back a couple of hours ago from a trip to Fernhurst, where the Cerb was booked in for an MOT.

Top job those chaps. Not only were the sales staff pleasant and friendly as always - they remembered our names and when we'd bought the car. They were also able to lend us a car for a pootle down to the coast while we waited for the testing to be done, and, best of all, they gave the Cerb a clean bill of health and a nice certificate to last another 12 months.

Great stuff!!

One word of warning, though, for anyone venturing Fernhurst-wards from the Guildford direction. Don't know if this has been posted before, but there's a Gatso on the downhill stretch just as you come into the 40 limit.

Oh, forgot to say hello to the bloke in the blue Cerb (purple ones are faster, you know ) who we encountered on the M25 through the roadworks. Are you on here??

Is Graham still at Fernhurst? Very very knowledgeable and great memory. If I walked in there after 6 years, I bet he'd still remember me, and could tell me the number plates of the 2 cars I bought and the reasons why I sold them!

And Simon (aka Goldie)? The first TVR (a 93 Chim) he sold after coming from a saab dealership was to me!

Fernhurst is always welcoming and always gave me a great service and coffee.

And what about Brian? I'm still waiting for my date with him. A girl can't wait forever for 'upgrades', a new gearbox and a sports exhaust!!

Actually...IIRC...I stood him up!

Have been dealing with Fernhurst for years and they now look after my third TVR have never had a problem with them. They are friendly, polite, knowledgeable and pricing is very good.

Most of the staff have been there for years which is always a good sign.

I would recommend them to anyone for sales and servicing.

I'd back that up. When I was looking for my car they were by far the nicest people to deal with were very genuine. Went back a year after buying the car they remembered me, which was nice. And then took me out for a spin in the Silver cerb they have in stock, god how I wanted to leave a depos there and then!!

My chimaera was bought there by the previous owner and had been serviced there for the first 4 years of it's life, I have also used it for the car's last service. Reckon that it could find it's own way back.

My car has never broken down or stopped working in all of it's 5 1/2 years so they must be doing the right things on the servicing side of things as well.

Yep! everything was all SET UP and you didn't turn up!

To say he was disappointed was an understatement! I believe he had to go down the pub that evening to consol himself!

Mind you he must get lots of disappointments he's always going down the pub... allegedly
