We are trading in the Rangie for a new one, from 3.6 to 4.4litres and upto 700Nm of torque.
The quandary is should we go for a Vogue (base model) and customise the interior with quilted leather seats, and leather A&B pillars and leather roof. Or an autobiography with standard leather?

Cost is cheaper for the custom option, although they admit their leather roof may not be to the same standard as Land Rovers.

Either interior will withstand your 700nm of torque.

Does the quality of the leather roof lining (never knew that existed tbh) really matter? If the important bits (I'm assuming its the seats) are better then go for the customised one.

The leather head lining is a bit OTT but it stops all those grubby finger prints on the roof.

Not sure about resale value, I assume that the autobiography would be better.

the problem is that the 700Nm is having to lug around a car that weighs just slightly more than the moon....;-) (actually the 10MY Rangies are fab! lol)

Quilted leather will be better in the snow.

How much difference in price we talking and how long you gonna keep it?

I imagine a dealer at trade in will violate you far more with the vogue/ aftermarket trim over the special edition.
