Now, I've done engine parts through the dishwasher, but painting a chassis in the lounge takes some beating

Mu missus gave me a bolloking for using her hair dryer to help remove a badge from my car - she'd throw a blue fit if I put stuff in the bath/dishwasher/living room.

Nope... as long as it isn't one of those wireless jobs with a battery in it you will be fine. A good stint in the airing cupboard afterwards will get rid of any moisture.

That is a ghood effort I like that a lot

I have been cleaning a few things in the bath, but the house is mainly for storage. Got radiator, fan, undertray, wheels, trim and bonnet in my front room at the moment.
