Alternator Removal ...

Hello again ... I was just wondering if anyone has a write up of an alternator removal on the V8 ??? If not can anyone please give me any directions and or tips on the removal please ?? Im doing this so I can get it rebuilt and save some labor charges ... Thanks again !!

You get to it from under the car. Remove the belt first by loosening the belt tesioner from above.

I would suggest getting the manual first.

The reason most die is a water leak from the front of the motor. Check for a white poweder build up on the alt case.
