Hi All,
Just wondering what Indy's you are using for Porsche servicing.
At the moment I am based in Glasgow, but will probably be moving up to Aberdeen direction in the Spring time. So any advice you can give on your recommended garages will be appreciated.
I have OPC warranty until Aug 2011 but just want to plan ahead for when that run's out.
Cheers and apologies if this has been covered before

Will - I use Motortune in Shotts.
Peter McAnna heads it up and is a really good honest and skilled techy.
I know some other guys use George Morrison in Rutherglen. (JC?)
Deutschtek in the West End are ok but they quoted me 600 quid more than Motortune for the same clutch so I stay with Peter.
Cheers B

Hi, I use Motortune too. Have done for about the last 5 years and Peter is a top bloke. Although might not be much use to you if you're heading up to Aberdeen soon.

Cheers,
Mike.

Yip George Morrison in Rutherglen if you're south side, 50 bucks an hour labour.... excellent !

I used to use Graham at RPM on Maryhill road with my last 911 and also found him very good, depends where you stay!

By choice they have little or no internet presence - just a wee simple website and they don't do e-mail.

19th century marketing but good quality work.

Another vote for Motortune - Peter is an excellent mechanic, and possibly too cheap. The only slight problem is that he's booked out a couple of weeks in advance, so you need to do a bit of planning ahead of time, but I know lots of guys in the Porsche Club who use him, and he's done a lot for me - not only Porsche, he knows his way round a ferrari very well too - did a lot of work on my 360.

Aye. As with everyone else, I use Motortune. This is why Peter’s booked up so far in advance!

Brian Miller is equally good over in Edinburgh, for people on the other side of the country.
