Wedge 280i plynth mounted door mirrors??????

Hi peeps..Does anyone know what the door mirrors were from originally..Ive looked at VW..Minis..Ford..Bullet style..But cant find anything the same, A few come close but the holes look like they wont match up..They are plynth mounted and plastic and i will be changing them later for some electrically operated but for now want to stay with original design..Many thanks..Zig

Early Range Rover, I believe.

I sold my broken ones on ebay last month. I removed them in favour of some off of a MK4 Fiesta.

My wedge had a set of those (or similar) to start with, I replaced them with some after market ones.

I think they came from Demon Tweeks (or a similar outlet.)

They look like the ones I used on my Tasmin (although mine were black before I had them sprayed to match the car): as it says in that ad I used them with the mounting plate cut off, just mounted them to the triangles at the tops of the doors.

Thanks wedg1e..Ill probably just replace as is for now but definately considering mounting where you suggest when i replace with either cable operated or maybe electric..If electric might need some of you expert advice on plugs and connections..Cheers..Zig
