Just came home from work and noticed the heating won't build up any pressure, we have a tap that we turn to build up the pressure but turning it does nothing.

I also noticed the tap in the kitchen does not work but every other tap in the flat does.

The flat is still wamish from the heating being on this morning.

Are half the pipes frozen? I really have no idea!

Cold mains failure for the kitchen..might be froz.
The other taps, do you have a storage tank? Unusual in a flat.

Heating. Mains failure. BUT..how often are you topping it up???? Sounds like you have a leak.

It does sound like a localised blockage..possibly ice..

Continually topping up heating systems is VERY bad for them. Fresh water = oxygen = rust = sludge...
