HELP to find a watch

Fellow Phers,

My friend has seen a watch on tinterweb somewhere he really likes and his Mrs wants to buy it for him for christmas. All I have at the moment is a description a vague one at that.

He has said it may be a car manufacturer watch and has red springs on the face, I think this may me it has mechanics of the watch exposed.

I have searched hi and low and cannot find anything.

Any help is appreciated.

Pffffft. Even if someone's seen something similar how will wifey know it's the right one? Get him to leave actually useful hints. Amazon wishlist is helpful.

I have shown my mate the watch and he has said it is not the one and that the springs were inside the face of the watch.

I think he may be talking about the mechanical movement.

Any other suggestions.

By the way I like the suggestion above so much that I have pre ordered one. No distributor in the UK just yet so have pre ordered direct with Marvin watches in switzerland.

Could possibly be a BRM R-50?

Another great suggestion but a little out of the price range for some reason he thinks it is under the £5k mark.

I need to win the lottery now to also purchase that BRM.
