Hi,

I have an Evo 8 which came with Brembo brakes all round. I've upgraded the front calipers to a bigger set so I have the originals spare. I could sell them but I've been toying with the idea of fitting them to one of my other cars as an upgrade, my other cars being a 2.2 Astra (came with sliding caliper) and a BMW 330d Sport (bought recently and not sure what brakes it has).

So the question is; are aftermarket brake upgrades possible on the BMW and/or Astra and if so then where can I get the parts I need to fit my ex-Evo Brembos?

Thanks

There is a little more to buying some brackets, I think you'll have to get some made. What size & thickness is the evo disc ?
I've just been doing a search, there is a guy in the midlands area (Leicester/Nottingham I think) that makes conversion brackets to fit porsche brembos to VAG cars, I reckon he'd be able to help you.
This guy may be able to help too: http://www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk/

hey, evo brembo brakes are a match for same size hub fitment vag models. i've put the standard evo brakes on cupra r's and a gti. not much mod work other than matching wheel ofset to the original evo size

hey man
if you're thinking of fitting the calipers to the 330 I would be intrested in taking the original 330 calipers and carriers off your hands

cheers
