Anyone else get stuck in the awful traffic in West London this evening? I was going into London from Hounslow and got as far as the roundabout before the Audi centre on the A4. Ended up detouring through Brentford, then over Kew bridge and eventually onto A316 towards Hogarth and then rejoining the A4.

Highways agency just says an incident occured?!

Sounds nasty for anyone involved, hopefully they survived.

In gridlock sitautions like this evening London and probably the rest of the UK could really do with more traffic police helping direct traffic flow especially at junctions. It was such chaos and one of the worst jams I've seen in a while, I'm sure with a bit more traffic management they could help people avoid traffic grinding to a halt.

Trains going west were fked too. No idea why, but mine was due to leave at about 6.30 and I've only just got in (1h 35min journey usually)

My sister lives 5 minutes from the Porsche garage; it took her 2.5 hours to get there from Hammersmith.
