Hi guys,
Car back on the road today for its first proper run.Driven about ten miles and engine cut out.I believe it to be a wiring problem because when I try and start it again it wont turn over.Eventually it will catch and hear the starter motor try and turn over engine for say a fraction of a second then stop. It will after a while start and then seems fine. Any ideas what it may be?
Thanks for your time

Check
Battery terminals are tight.
All earths are nice and clean.
Maybe
Knackered starter solanoid / starter ( check just in case it's both Immobalizer and stuffed starter. Happened to me and caused much confusion ! )
Fault on Immobalizer ( dry joint / crack in pcb etc )
Check the cables going to the battery have a good connection within the actual battery clamps ( where the screws hold the cable tight). I had some corrosion once you couldn't see and it was enough to stop the engine turning over, although everything else worked perfectly. Stupidly bought a new starter before I found it.
