One for the lunchtime rush

A colleague bought an 11 plate reg yesterday. The first time he tried he got through to the payment section and the website crashed.

He got through the second time and was "successful", put in his card details etc. He got a confirmation email confirming his success.

He has now received an email this morning saying that there was a computer error and he hasn't got the registration and it is now sold.

I think he might be ok as the error email may of come from his first unsuccessful attempt, and that as he has a successful email he should be ok

I told him to ring the DVLA, however I have looked on the website and there is no contact number due to the close of the telesales business last month.

Has this happened to anyone else and does anyone have an opinion of what may of occurred.

Also does anyone have a phone number to ring the DVLA and speak to a real person, so he will know whether or not he was successful

thanks in advance

Dave

Whats in his online account? That lists the registrations he's purchased.

From the other thread - not a sales number but a customer services number I believe:
