Anything BUT x-factor! Although I think they're doing something for H4H so everyone will be guilt tripped into buying their song. Charity is good, but not when you're using it for selfish reasons...

too many songs vying to do a 'rage' so will end up splitting downloads.

I would like anything but xfactor.
My mate just told me that she heard a few folk are trying to get Biffy Clyro's Many of Horror to No.1 over the xfactor one.

Unfortunately due to the success of Rage last year, there will be quite a few groups all trying the anti-X-Factor thing this year which will mean the effect is diluted and X-Factor will get it

I just heard the X Factor winner's song on the radio - are they trying to inject a bit more credibility into it after last year's anti-X Factor protests by giving the winner a Biffy Clyro cover? Because changing the name and inserting a cheesy key change into it doesn't help, not to mention the uninspiring cover vocals and backing! Oh dear.

Its good exposure though. Before last night Biffy had passed me by. I spent the evening googling them and watching You Tube vids and now I am a fan.

It's the first single I've bought in about a decade. It would be excellent to have a John Cage piece at number 1 on Christmas day.
