In short i ordered a DC23 from amazon, they saw the ball one was only £10 more so bought it quickly.

Later Ive found out that a DC24 is a small form factor cleaner, and i cannot cancel my order as its too late. So should i keep it, its an expensive item so i want to be happy with it. Reviews seem really good, we have a 2 bed semi so not a huge house I'm undecided as to keep it or go back for the DC23 (none ball one).

Thanks

I have, Great for me, as my 3 bed semi only has a carpet in the lounge and the stairs, it can reach everything from the same plug socket. Very lightweight and i hold it in one hand whilst doing the stairs with the attachment. Quite small so stores easily. I'm glad i went for the smaller one.

The ball is great for getting under the couch as you can run sideways down it.

Actually i've only really ever done this once when i got the new toy, but SWMBO seems to like it, and she uses it a lot more than mebiggrin

I thought you can return anything mail-order due to the distance selling regs. Once you have sent it back - order a henry instead..

Funnily, am halfway through 'Henrying my abode; just stopped for a cuppa and thought I'd waste spend some time browsing through PH. Have to agree, an Henry is better than a Dyson (have both) but, would say a Dyson is better for the fairer half as is easier to push around. The Henry, having better suction, is more a 'mans' machine due to extra push needed. biggrin

If its from Amazon, they do have a return policy, should be no problem.

Yep its from Amazon, I can return it but its the hassle and would have to wait up to 3 weeks for my dosh

If I open it I will end up keeping it, otherwise back it goes. As for Henrys, had one of those at uni was ok but I hate the none upright ones, rotating brush upright is the way forward.

Not quite it seems. I bought a 32" TV from Amazon recently and then thought maybe a 37" would be better. Hard to decide without seeing it in situ. So I asked if I could buy a 37" as well and return whichever one I decided against. They said products can't be returned once the box has been opened. They added that I could sell it on Amazon Marketplace - but didn't mention the 17.5% fee...

It's probably up to the seller, because Screwfix had no problems when I ordered two bench drills and returned one.

Guess you know you can go to the returns page in Amazon, and print out a return pre paid delivery note for the box.

I've got a DC24 and have recently moved into a large 4-bed detached house. Apart from the flex being a bit short, so I have to unplug and plug it in a bit more often to do the entire house, it's fine.
