Project Kahn Plans Cosworth-Tweaked Evoque

Baby Range Rover goes faster with stripes. Presumably...

Bradford-based tuning outfit Project Kahn has revealed that it is working on a tweaked version of the new Range Rover Evoque.

While we don't share an npower League 2 footballer's fondness for Kahn's creations, we do rather like the Evoque - and Cosworth playing a part in the project can surely only be a good thing.

Dare we even suggest the retro-tastic Cosworth door stripe works quite well with the Evoque's sporty white roof in the photoshop rendering? (Take cover Riggers - incoming! Ed.)

Still, beyond this photoshop-tastic rendering we have no idea what Project Kahn and Cosworth are planning for the baby Range Rover, so we'll reserve our judgment for now. Apart from those wheels, which we've already judged to look 'a bit much'...

Because Kahn's key demographic is people with more money than us and absolutely zero taste who genuinely believe this sort of vehicle compensates for what must be incredibly small genitals.

Oh and I have literally st things that look more stylish.

I don't think the photoshopped one in the pic looks too bad paperbag, but it would need some good engine mods to go with it. Which I doubt will happen. And they will probably make it look hideous by over-styling it with as many stick on parts as they can find.

Is that a serious question? Almost anything Khan'd just looks utter shyte to anyone with a modicum of taste.

This is the current Kahn-Cosworth offering based on the RR Sport:

http://www.kahncosworth.com/

I think it runs a tuned diesel engine.

For shame, Cosworth....

edit: It uses the TDV8 engine, tuned to 300bhp from 268bhp.

So just a chip, then.

Is that a Kahn photoshop? They can't have seriously sent that out as a press-release?

What do you have to do to really appreciate Kahn's 'upgraded' upholstery?

You get innit.

The styling would be fine on a small hatch, but on a hunking great lump of car? Just looks a bit OTT.

Kahn's website says everything about 'their' cars. It is just a selection of pictures of gaudy interiors and tacky chav bodykits, very little if any info about engines, driving, etc.

Style over substance for those who care about image more than the experience.
