Bike alarm for velomobile

Hey,

I'm a long-time PH visitor and long-time recumbent cyclist. This is the first time I start a topic in "pedal powered", but I thought you guys could help.
I was wondering if any of you have some experience with bicycle alarms, of all sorts.

My sister, who has a velomobile would like to have one but I don't know the first thing about them.

I was looking at those like the one below but I'm a little lost in the woods...



So, do any of you have any experience with them?
