Please accept my apologies for being so blunt here but I need quick help.

My OH is stuck in snow and the Tyres flat, On trying to move it the abs light has appeared.

Is it just coincidence and that's the pads needing done or has she somehow managed to bugger the sensor?

She's scared to drive home incase it's the abs that's pumped.

It's a 04 Streetka by the way.

Again, I appreciate it's a bit cheeky, sorry.

it will be fine, need to re-inflate the flat tyre though, if the ABS is broken then she will have normal brakes, we managed with those for nearly 80 years!!!

Lots of wheel spinning and locking can confuse the ABS. The car monitors the speed of all 4 wheels and will throw up an error if there is a mis-match. You'll probably find that once you get the car moving again and it can run a succesful self test, the light will go off.

I thought about this afterwards, probably not even a sensor issue, just confused computer!

Is the light still on??
