As per title, with a budget of around £300 per month I need a car capable of doing 25k a year at around 40mpg. I'm thinking PCP as it means the car is gone at the end of it but I'm not sure what I fancy!

oh wisdom of the PH world inspire me!

Apparently the new Volvo S60 D3 can be had for £300 a month. No idea what the deposit/term is though.

Not a car suggestion per se, but certainly useful to run the figures through, is this website:

http://www.buyacar.co.uk/

It lets you pick a budget, or a car and put the mileage/contract length figures in - plenty of half decent discounts on the vehicles too - and it will even work out PCP, HP or Lease figures, and allow you to vary the deposit size.

(No affiliation, just using it at the moment to find a new car for Mrs j44esd, 20k per year self-funded means a PCP seems a good idea!)

Sorry to be boring.....but do you have to have a car on PCP. Can you not have something diesel that's 10 years old that's not worth much, is hard as nails and will save you £300 PM for a toy? biggrin (Just my thinking)
