Just after a bit of info really...

I've got a 2004 SL500 and have been looking at getting it remapped. Has anyone here done this? Are the claims of 308 -> 340 bhp accurate/worth it? Could my money be better spent on anything else?

I like my SL because it's like surfing a wave of torque, which is what I think "defines" the nature of the engine. Does the bhp increase give a big performance hike in a useable area? Or somewhere daft like 130mph and above?

DMS very proficient at what they do, give them a call and they will talk you through it, they generally dont go for the all out power to make it undriveable way.

Have you had a DMS remap, or any remap on this engine Craig?

I'm sure DMS will tell me that they are the best company around, I was wondering if anyone had personal experience. I know the car isn't particularly common, but I've found absolutely no first-hand experiences/reviews on Google whatsoever! I'm presuming if I was unhappy with the results, a company like this would put the car back to standard for little/no charge...

I have the same motor in my r129 (m113). I have twice emailed DMS to ask them what they could do for me and on neither occasion have they troubled to reply.

As the OP says they claim 308 -> 340 bhp and a "much sharper throttle response".

Just call them - they've always answered when I've called.
