Any good deals at the Wynn in Vegas?
Discussion
I stayed at the Encore in March. Got a great deal at www.easyclicktravel.com that worked out at about $120 a night (although Friday and Saturday did go much higher as usual for Vegas). Also, at check-in I got offered an upgrade for an extra $20-ish a night (for 62nd floor facing towards Caesar's and Mirage etc) which is well worth it if you get the option. Recent prices I've seen for Wynn/Encore haven't been quite as decent though.
Finally, if you aren't tied to staying at Wynn/Encore, some more central places like Bally's or Paris currently have very good prices (and no "resort fee"). I stayed at Bally's in November for $39 a night midweek (booked direct with them). It's a contrast to Encore but far better than the price would suggest

Thanks for that. Just had a look and its comming in at £235 GBP per night. Huge difference. Unfortunately the people I am going with only want to stay at this hotel. Finally, if you aren't tied to staying at Wynn/Encore, some more central places like Bally's or Paris currently have very good prices (and no "resort fee"). Another question. By staying in the Wynn do we automatically get entry into its nightclubs?

Just back from a week at the encore, great hotel.
We booked through expedia, 7 nights, tower suite (massive), & direct flights with Virgin from Gatwick 1800 quid all in, for the two of us.
Note that Tryst operates a table service policy at 450 per 3 people, before you have bought a drink.

Is that 450 dollars or GBP? I heard if you are staying at the encore you can get entrance into its clubs though you have to pay a $50 dollar cover charge per person. Did you go to XS? What was that like. Any other hints or tips I should know about?
sorry, that should read dollars. not sure of the Wynn clubs as we were too busy, but the encore information says "its hard to get in, but if you are a Wynn guest, we're on your side".
The black eyed peas were playing at one of the Encore clubs last week, while Garth Brooks was playing the Wynn (the national Rodeo finals were in town for the week, cowboys everywhere)
