In a moment of foolishness I downloaded this and now can't get the Smiley Tooobar out of my new message window. It's not in the add/remove programs list nor in the views/toolbar menu. Can anyone rid me of this turbulent beast?

It's XP and OE, but I've never needed a Restore Point before and wouldn't know how to do it. Would there be a file somewhere I can just find and delete?

Thank Brian but it's not a process as such, it seems incorporated somehow within OE. I deleted the file I downloaded (an exe) but it's already 'in'.

You could always try the system restore. Not sure if your pc does this but every couple of days mine will create restore points.

Go to control panel=>performance and maitenance=>system restore

the click perform system restore
there should be at least one check point in the past week so if you havent dont anything major that you need to keep just try doing a restore. should get rid of it.

But before u do that try this
click the view tab, and it should have something that says toolbars or something, you also might be able to turn it off in there.

I hadn't noticed this before as I was looking for 'Smiley Central'. Apologies for not Googling; sometimes it's quicker just to ask someone who already knows the answer!
