Help to identify a pocket watch.

I inherited this from my grandfather and would like to know a bit more about it. Does anybody know anything about it or where i could find out about it?

I think my uncle said it was a WWII airman's watch.

Dont know any more though. It has been inscribed inside the back plate with what looks like servicing dates.
