I feel we should support the club and pay our membership so we get sprint in the post each month, christ whats 35 quid once a year?
It wouldnt even buy a tank of super for our beloved.
The club is the only official backbone left in support of the marque so dont encourage people to be so bleedin tight by offering copies from sprint, that would p--s me off if i'd written it,edited it,photographed it and printed it only for some tight ass to download for everyone else for free.

You'd get on well with ohsohonestchargeperclickjohn, you would wink

My website has lots of information on it, mostly deduced by my own fair brain: I don't charge for it, nor do I bleat if people take and use that information to save themselves money. The reason I started the site was because I was fed-up with the 'closed-shop' attitude that prevailed in TVR circles: they're only cars for god's sake, not the next big technology.
Contributors to club magazines do so because they want to, not because it's their living. You could argue that if none of us turned up for BBWF, there'd be nothing to write wink

That would mean subscribing for a year to just see what they write about the BBWF, thats about the only wedge related articles they ever put in there. They didnt even do the BBWF last year. So supporting is all well and good but whats the point if you dont own a tuscan 2 or a sag IMHO that is of course. Thats the main reason i stopped subscribing.

I left the club for various reasons but have put pen to paper for the magazine and been in it at least once (or MikeB was going to push me in the stingies). Have a pristine issue safe and sound. I gave any snaps that I took FOC and have no idea if they have been used (as I have done in the past) but it would be good to see the report.

Edit. To be honest it would be a travesty to think my photography skill were even average.... heard this thing about focus?

They did a big wedge article about 2 years ago, and because I phoned up Derek (editor at the time) we met up and he took lots of pics of the car and wrote a good article about the Wedge variants. I know Mandy would welcome any articles you may want included in the magazine about your trips or restorations etc, so contact her.

Wedg1e mate, you more than anybody have done more for Wedge owners than anybody I know including the TVR fecking car club. In my opinion they should put your face on money!

You have done it for FREE in your own time, Christ they will be charging for the BBWF entrance at this rate.

Might just start another Wedge site just to stick it to 'em again, now wheres my pirate flag......
