They're never gonna give anyone the true value of thier car as they will want to make some cash usually at the owner cost if they're that desperate to sell the car,'we buy any car' is the prime example my old chap for a laugh rang them and asked for a price on his car he uses for work a renault laguna the car was worth £750-£1000 they offered £250!!

Hmmmm. Let's see now.

Random unknown guy purporting to be from Manchester with only a mobile contact number and an aol e-mail addy is going to come and collect your car. And if you have outstanding finance he will settle it. In your dreams.

Plus why the need to even mention cleared funds? What other sort might he be using. Oh, wait....

The only Redline is likely to be on your bank statement. Especially if the finance company come after you for settlement.
