Well i hope there wasnt 2 accidents a freind of mine smashed up his yellow griffith on wednsday night on the M55 both occupants ok apparently he spun a few times hit the barrier and another car not seen the pics yet.

That may have been the crash I saw, couldn't see a lot, partially obscured by the police vehicles and hard to identify due to the damage, I'm colour blind as well.

Mines not a garage queen but I do tend to want to drive it on a half decent day,rain or shine but these icy conditions would take me by surprise on a shady corner so mine hasn't been out for weeks,not like me at all.But having a accident on a motorway just shows you that even going in a straight line these cars bite,for me i'll wait till it gets a bit warmer.

An accident on the mway could be nothing to do with the car biting.

It could be caused by someone else, a blowout, debris on the road, drunk or drugged driver, tiredness, inattention etc etc.... all of these are nothing to do with the car. Implying the crash happened because its a TVR is bad for the marque. Yes they bite if you drive like a moron, but so do all cars if you exceed their limits.

a few years ago a mate of mine stuffed his tuscan on the M74. doing 70 mph moving from the inside lane to the middle lane, he caught a patch of hidden standing water and rattled it down the barriers.. Before you say look dodgy TVR handling.. when they reported it, the recovery almost didnt turn up, as they had literaly just returned from recovering a bmw from the same spot..

seems like that patch regularly spun people out !!!

Driver and passenger are both ok according to the driver he couldnt believe how well the car stood up to the impact he went to overtake a van in the middle lane when it all went tits up at approx 70 he ended up stationary in lanes 1 and 2 when he stepped out of the car he slipped straight onto his backside it seems the cause was patchy black ice wednsday night was not a night to be out in a tvr. he is gutted about it.the car had just had a major engine rebuild and he was trying to get miles on it to run it in so it go for a remap. And he wasnt driving like a moron he had his 12 year old son with him.
