Whoah, there.

Traffic depends on time of day.

If you're driving, the Hallamshire has a small multi storey car park. If you're using that, watch your wheels on the kerbs. If you're not using it, leave PLENTY of time to find somewhere to park. Make sure you're not within a residential parking scheme and be prepared to walk some distance.

Got to go out now. If you want some road names for parking, I'll post them up.

Yep if your out of peak hours park near the botanical gardens and walk the few hundred yards, the car park is not good.

The side roads are all permit only now. You have to go further away.

I think Endcliffe Vale Road is still available.

From your op, I assume you've not driven before?

During rush hour, it's very slow along the Parkway, past the station and approaching the centre.

Eases off at Hanover Way, about a mile before the hospital.

Oh i have driven there before and know about the parkway etc, but if the roads were still covered in snow or ice, then i wanted to know so as to leave that bit earlier to allow for traffic. Anyway, they are fine, and i managed to get there in one piece, so all is good
