Does anyone know if there is a tvr owners golf society? if not I am interested in setting one up, with the first meeting in the spring next year, perhaps somewhere in the Midlands area.

Any views / ideas welcome

Perhaps you should also ask in the Chimaera section?

There looks to be some interest, which is good news, hopefully this will run for a while. I will contact everyone who has shown an interest with further details in due course. I would suggets four meetings per year say April, June, Aug and Oct. No cost to join we negotiate a good deal on green fees and divide it up equally, (I generally get a courtesy round as a GCMA member and will throw that in as well). A few bob thrown in for a prize fund (a sensible amount)and off we go. Nothing too complicated but a committee of two or three members to help oversee and run things would be helpful.
There's nothing better than a spin out in the tvr and rolling up for a game of golf. Roll on the spring.

Keep the replies/interest coming in

Re V8 OWL no not got the plate unfortunately although I would like to own it.
I was a big Seff Wed fan before I got into golf and got married etc. The club wasted too much money on so called big name stars de Canio, carboni etc.

So thought I'd play gof and buy a tvr instead.

I make that 11/12 so far interested, will probably get a few more when the sun comes out and the new clubs arrive on Christmas day.

I did post this on the Chimaera pages as suggested, however the only positive comment was that Peter Wheeler used to be a golfer, nuff said.

Don't ask this in the Griff forum, they don't play golf, the chest hair gets in the way of their swing
