C36 - Jump point under bonnet.

Okay so I decided to go dig out the Mercedes today.
Battery is completely flat. Central locking not working/no lights on dash.
Boot lock seems to be knackered, Keys not going all the way in.
Jump starting getting desparate.
Had a poke around and nothing obvious. Flummoxed.
Assuming there is one, can anyone point me in the direction of the jump point under the bonnet?

Hi there

Check out the mbclub forum. I had a similar problem and managed to find forum links with pictures pointing out the power point under the bonnet. Once you connect up to this point you can open the boot using your key fob
One point of warning only use a battery pack to connect to this point under the bonnet and not jump start

Hello Paul , good luck with the glitch .
After an infuriating immobiliser issue (red/green flashing lights thing) , mine is coping well with Yorkshire snow and ice for the first time in 5 years ( at least until my freelander arrives next week ) .
I`ve no idea about a jump point under the bonnet though , but the above link seems to make sense .
PS , off back to Germany when time allows !

There is one under the bonnet on the passenger's side. It is under a plastic cover with lots of wires coming to a junction at that point.

Alternatively I think the official point for jumping the battery is under the carpet in the passenger footwell / bulkhead.
