Recommended Specialist in KENT (Maidstone)
Discussion
Hi Guys n Girls... If any of you have an ALFA / FIAT / FIAT Camper and live in Maidstone, Kent or Surrounding Areas and could use a good "Inde" Specialist then this information will be of interest to you, so please do read on.........
I can definately recommend GO ITALIA (01622 749282) near Loose. Jamie has done a very thorough 72K Service + Full Cambelt Kit, Balancer Belt Kit, Alternator Belt, Water Pump, Rocker Gasket and Coolant Change. I was charged £250.00 for Labour inclusive of All Oils. I supplied my own OEM parts from www.AlfaWorkshop.co.uk (great source for genuine parts at great prices and service from Jamie Porter).
GO ITALIA is a small but high quality specialist, and not yet VAT registered so 17.5% Off !!!!
I was really impressed with his workshop, fully decked out, very clean and organised.
Its a bit off the main track (out via Dean Street / Stockett Lane) but a great find.
Probably the most honest garage I have been too. I only have one urgent job to get done (leaky sump - bu88er) and he is going to source me discounted part. I have a few minor things to get done during the next service, but I was able to look at the car on the ramps and he took the time to show me whats what.
What garage shows you what you need to do in next 6-9 months and only advises the urgent stuff, most of them want to unload your wallet regardless, so this was very refreshing!
You get a Full service report sheet, invoice and service book stamps provided.
He covers Alfa, Fiat and if you have a Fiat Camper he does those too - Full Height Workshops.
Fully Qualified Master Tech with years of Fiat and Alfa Main Dealer Experience.
There is NO other Specialist in this area and I certainly cannot be bothered to do an hours driving to go to Day and Whites near Brands Hatch (sorry).
Great Guy and Great Service - £50 per hour labour charge and he has the full computerised job estimating system to give you an accurate priced job. He can also provide your parts giving you a choice of Original OEM or SC Factors depending on your budget.
Spread the word, because this doesn't get much better
PS. I don't have any interest in this business. I am a first Alfa owner, I got referred to this place via alfaowner.com and I think its important to put the word out when you get someone good like this. Thanks!
