Hi guys.
I am getting a very loud vibration noise from the water pipes when the combi boiler kicks in. Only last few seconds but the noise is very loud.

No much more info to give really other than I jumped of the bed twice last night when the bloody boiler came on eek

Any ideas guys?

Try turning all the rad valves on and off.

I have to do this every 12 months or so in my house.

First time it happened I thought there was an earthquake.

It might well be the thermostatic radiator valves on the wrong end of some of the radiators. If too much flow goes through them 'backwards' they will 'chatter' which goes right through the whole system. Unusual on start-up though.
