Took the Wedge out for what is likely to be its last run for a while today and flew the Wedge flag at Pistonheads Sunday Service at Mercedes World Brooklands. Good to meet the owner of the other wedge there, a 450 SEAC. wavey

Road tax runs out at the end of this month and I am planning to SORN her until the spring so what with getting ready for Christmas, today was probably my last run in the Wedge for a few months. Fabulous day for it (if a little bracing with the roof down at 8AM!) but roads very greasy and salty so a good blast underneath with the jetwash when I got back and heat on in the garage to make sure she dries out properly. Roll on spring !!!!!!

I thought I spotted a SEAC spoiler in one of the main thread photo's. Good to see a couple of wedges holding up our honour!

I had been hoping to get there as well today but due to the incompetence of my bank I've had to delay getting my new Wedge until next weekend!!

It's was a fun event. I think we we're the only two wedges there. Good to have a chat and also say hello to Mattman. Quite a few positive comments made about the wedges and one guy came up to me when I was leaving to say he had previously been a 450 SEAC owner and wondering where the car was now. Interestingly although I've owned my car for nearly 7 years I've never come across a previous owner.

Thanks taking for the photos, I'd forgotten my camera. I must admit it does look better with the lights down. It took me a few years to get round to sorting that out!
