Article said:
Labour's welfare policies were in disarray last night after Harriet Harman said it should be made easier for immigrants to send benefit payments to relatives abroad.

At a meeting in her constituency, the party’s deputy leader praised claimants who funnel taxpayers’ cash to Africa as ‘hidden heroes’.

Bizarrely she claimed the practice – widely seen as an abuse of the overstretched welfare system – was a way of boosting international aid.
Harridan Harmanhater on top form.

It is almost as if she is trying to curry favour with one group of people just to stay on as an MP.

Obviously Labour gives these spongers too much money if they are able to send some "home".
Firstly fire all Labour MPs especially Harridan wemoan, then remove all monetary benefits and give them benefit stamps, or a benefit CC as successfully done in California. The stores MUST run all through the computer and they send the bill to the social services with the list of what was bought, things like beer, fags etc cannot be run up on the card....

The Labour party should be banned as it is bad for the country.

The UK

It would wake people up to the ills of socialism

All that will happen is next election labour will get back in due to the riots caused by the nasty party and the whole cycle goes round again

Just to clarify: do you think Harman and Blair, let alone New Labour, are socialist?

As previously, definitions are difficult to sustain over time when socialists pretend to be other things and get creative with the overall package to mislead voters. For a start green is the new red.

Clearly there were aspects of Bliar that were not hard-line Old Labour but definitions aren't necessary to understand that they overtaxed, overcontrolled, overinterfered, overstuffed the public sector, redistributed wealth first covertly then overtly, and became more under the thumb of the public sector unions as their support and funding fell off a cliff. Brown was pure command and control incompetence. The electorate need to be disabused of any consideration that Labour are good for the country. Labels are academic, except for nitpicking people generally know what's intended.

Erm, it's paid to parents in the UK to help their children in the UK - not Africa, India, Pakistan or anywhere else.

However, please feel free to send your own money where you like.

Funny you say that. I was thinking last year that they should be done for treason; they keep fking up the country and would be great as subtle terrorists.
