They have to be FWD? Or is this the return of 4WD?

Running in Fwd trim, or is 4wd allowed again?

BTCC ngtc regs say FWD or RWD as with the base vEhicle. No mention of 4wd:

So I'm assuming that the A4 will be FWD with a longitudinal engine.

Hopefully they can get a few more variations of cars on the grid. If only they could grab a couple of the guys out of WTCC and the odd ex F1'er interest might start to snowball. Coulthard, Tarquini, Priaulx, Panis or maybe even a certain Mr Prost. I'll keep dreaming.

So far we have..

Ford
Seat
VW
Audi
Honda
Toyota
Vauxhall

Not all official teams but its looking very promising and its by far the best grid line up weve had at this time of year for ages biggrin

I doubt we will see DC and Priaux will be doing Gt racing in 2011 before DTM in 2012 but I still think there could be a slight chance of Tarquini coming back if he cant get a decent seat in the WTCC wink

Lots of makes, but they are all the same weight, power and (mostly) drive. Boring.

4WD will never, ever come back. They were just so much faster than everything else it was silly, especially in the races that took place under British weather conditions.

Rob Austin scratchchin. The only driver I can remember, that finished a Formula 3 race, then crashed hehe. Not to mention a particularly unsavory accident in a Ginetta race at Thruxton a couple of years back. Still, it should make for an interesting season, if he gets anywhere near JP or Matt Neal yes.
