I followed a biegey-coloured car on the M5 on Saturday with no badges to ascertain its make / model.

It looked a bit like a modern, shorter Kharmann Ghia. On the boot it had two grilles instead of the Ghia's three.

Reg was RX07 KF*.

Any ideas? Unfortunately I didn't see the front.

It's a shame it's not your car. You could have put the reg into here http://www.askmid.com/ownvehicle/ it would have told you if it was insured and the make and model!!

But your not allowed to do somebody elses vehicle!

RX07KFA/C - Punto

RX07KFD - RX07KFK - Aston Martins

RX07KFL - BMW 118d

Everything else to RX07KFT - More Astons

RX07KFV and onwards - A bunch of Renault Espaces

ETA that's from the AutoTrader sell your car link, not from AskMID.

It was KFP.

(Or perhaps KEP, but I chased it to double-check and pretty sure it was KFP - reg plate wasn't that clean)

It definitely wasn't an Aston unless it had been rebodied, and who would do that?

Strange things are afoot on the M5!

I am not ruling out a mistake on my part, but I believe 99.9% that was the reg I saw.

Was it one of these? I don't know what they are called. All I know is that Corries Rosie Webster had one and they are based on a Peugeot 206 I think...
