3000m Steering Column
Discussion
Hi Paul, There are only 3 parts that can be PC'd..that bracket AS IS, the minor bracket that holds the felt flat washer and the TR6 modified (chopped) bracket that bolts to the side of the pedal box...anything else will need to be wet sprayed as it will either fall apart or melt in the PC process.

Cheers Adrian
I'll need to buy some more 'rattle cans' then and spray the other bits. Was just worried that the brackets had been bent, especially as the pedal box looks a little twisted with some welded repairs / adjustments to the pedals. I'll have to compare them against the pictures on the other thread.

I have just done one last week and I can see that the wire protector channel is missing from yours...There are 6 differing pedal boxes from 71-80 and then Std/short/long in all versions (so 4 versions of cut and chop mods from the factory)....The bracket looks good, it stops the column rotating beyond the steering lock.

Cheers again Adrian, I have the wire protector channel which came off when I was cutting off the old steering lock, it'll go back on once it's cleaned up. I'll give you a call for some new column bushes in the next few days. Didn't know there were factory mods done to the pedal box either!Paul
