Slightly surprising, but perhaps those new Indian owners are getting someone in and gonna give the a few £ to spend in January. Looking at the Blackburn squad, it does lack quality and needs a lot of investment.

Whos the frontrunner then? Hughton or Jol maybe, or will the Indians go after a big name?

When the new owners came in they seemed to imply that they weren't going to splash the cash/make large funds available.

Are there any decent Indian managers?

These are the owners who said we don't need to buy new players, just borrow them off other teams? Now they sack Big Sam 'I could win the Champions League with Real Madrid' Allardyce. They are doomed I tell thee...doomed!

If I was a Liverpool fan, I'd be really worried if in the next couple of days, Roy goes....

As a football fan what great news. Hope he never gets another job in the Premiership. Hopefully Mc arthy will be next. Tho as an LFC supporter Hodgson would do!!

Stupid decision unless they have someone already lined up, which is doubtful. With limited resources Sam has done us proud and, if the new owners sentiment that they arent going to be splashing the cash is true, then his succesor will have an equally uphill struggle

Apparently the owners like caretaker manager Steve Kean because 'he works long hours'. This is an exciting and, in my view, long overdue Apu Nahasapeemapetilon cornershop approach to football management.

He had the misconception that football clubs can be run as a business, being a fan I'm not buying into that fact. smile

Good luck to the new owners but I wonder how long they'll stick around when they realise that it's not quite as easy to bust into the top four as they think, simply by changing managers and then playing 'interesting' football, which apparently is their plan. I imagine the managers of the current top four will very much enjoy playing against a Blackburn team playing interesting football.

I have to say I agree.

Not sure I recall the last time I heard such drivel spouted about football. Best they can hope for in this grand plan of theirs is that they dont sink any lower, and that some of their key players dont decide to feck off in light of Sam's sudden dissapearance. Worst case is that, without a manager (but with a hardworker)for "at least a couple of months", they slip down the table and fight a relegation battle they could lose.

Then what? Relegation and the owners up sticks and leave

Quite clearly, these frikking idiots should pee off back to India and carry oon selling sodding chickens.
