Hi im looking at a 2006 M5 to buy, the car is mint, hpi clear, f/s/h. clean and drives spoton, the only problem is both rear footwells are wet, the dealer told me the rear windows had been stuck dowm and snow and rain had soaked the carpets!!! Any1 had any faults on the reat door seals os other issues with wet carpets in M5'S????? Thanks Edd.

If the windows were left open you should see staining on the seats.

Could also be leaking door membranes; that would let water into the footwells through the bottom of the door cards.

Make sure it hasn't been sat in a flood.
