Nige,
I took the R500 up last year, it was a cold day, but needed to shake off the booze and food glaze!!
So I will look to bring it out for a quick blast too, as long as there is not masses of snow on the ground that is!!
In fact ice and snow will keep me away I think, but just cold will mean I will still come out for the fun of a cold weather blat.
Hope to see you then.

Just got back. Obviously, because of the weather, the interesting cars were few but there were enough to make it worthwhile.
I saw a green Bentley - was that BG?
Nice Lotus Carlton, an excellent split-screen bug van with a Scooby 2-litre engine (loved that), Cobra replica, Cerbera with a PH sticker (that'll be me soon enough - I hope), Chimaera that sounded really good as he left and booted it up the road (in both directions), a few Mk3 Cortinas, Beetles, bikes and other stufff, and my brother's evil black Landy which seemed to draw attention even though it's his daily driver.
There were 3 of us with our kids who preferred to kick the piles of snow than look at the motors. Didn't recognise anyone else.

Did go there though in the daily driver, was a better turn out than I had though it would be. Couple of nice white RS fords one Marks I presume.
Some nice cars there but a lot of daily driver out
Hope to get my other car finished this year so I can really take part in the shows rather than carrying the parts in the boot of my DD

Yep, I was tucked up in the corner of the main building as usual
Hi all,
Just to let everyone know, we have unfortunately had to cancel all future meets at Becketts Farm.
For more details visit the website www.beckettsfarm.co.uk
Please pass this on. Thankyou

I completly agree. I hope the twunts who gave the organisers grief about standing behind the tape feel suitably pleased with themselves. For crying out loud it was a thin bit of tape put there to stop folks from wondering onto the road, it hardly spoilt the view / sound of cars leaving, so what's the issue with doing as you're told? To those morons, I send you an electronic kick in the nads
I can't say I saw anyone leaving out of control, but I did leave about 7:30, so quite early really. I would always make a bit of noise while leaving to give the spectators something to smile about, but I never lit the car up or slewed across the road. I guess some folks went a bit far and the risk of injury became too great for Beckett's to take.
Personally, I think this is a MASSIVE shame and a great loss to the area. Beckett's did a great job or putting on an eclectic and enjoyable meeting. The variety of cars on show was one of the best aspects of the meet, along with the opportunity to catch up with local petrol heads.
The guys at Beckett's do a great job for the community (my baby daughter goes to the nursery owned by them) and I'd like to say thanks to them for their work. If Simon Beckett & the team could find a way to improve the logistics / safety (sensibly), I'd be back there like a shot for another meeting.

I'm not surprised, the crowds at the exit were about 6 rows deep towards the end of the evening and it was impossible to see traffic coming down the dual carriageway, making it extremely dangerous when trying to pull out in an old mini containing my family.
Perhaps a barrier would solve the issue, Also the lack of Police presence may have had something to do with it?
