Command Update - Problem

Hi.
I have a 2005 CLK, with version 4.0 Nav disc, in the Command unit

I have now got a second hand disc, version 8.0

When i try to install the new disc, it starts to install what it needs to but stops showing the message error 3.

Can any body help with installing the newer disc.
