GTM Rossa Mk2

I'm thinking about selling my GTM Rossa Mk2 as I've just got another project and don't think I'm ever going to get round to putting it back on the road.

It's properly registered (on a Q), has a 1340cc A series with the timing belt conversion which runs well, is in an off white gel coat (with blue stripes) which is in pretty good condition, has an interior which does the job and needs four new tyres and the handbrake adjusting for the MOT.

What I'm wondering is what it is worth? I've not seen one for sale for ages so don't know where to start. I'd like it to go to an enthusiast as would prefer to see it go back on the road rather than being broken for mini spares (or poached for parts on my next project) so am looking for a 'fair' price.

Selling it without an MOT would not be a good move. I'm guessing £1500.

£1500 with an MOT and maybe £1200 without?

It needs 4 tyres (as the current ones are cracked) at, say, £40 each, a few hours of fiddling with the drivers side handbrake to balance it and and MOT. I'd say that is probably worth about £300 off the price?

The potential problem is that whilts you might be confident that's all that is required to get it through an MOT, andy potential purchaser will be thinking '...but what else might be picked up', and will want to negotiate a price that errs on the side of caution.

If it really is that easy, then get the MOT done yourself. It will be much easier to sell (and at a much better price) with 12 months ticket.
