Nürburgring Weather in April

Hi chaps, the question is in the title really!

Have been to the 'ring every year since 2006 but we usually go in june or august and the weather has been lovely.

Plan for 2011 is to make 2 trips, the first being around easter time.

Obviously you can never guarantee the weather, especially up in the mountains. But in general what are the chances of it being dry?

We will be camping so would prefer to delay the trip until may to avoid a washout!

weather will be fine as easter is late this year. i would book now as most places are fully booked already as its always the busiest weekend of the year. Also avoid friday ( good friday) it is notoriously the worst day of the year. i won;t be going on the friday this year as this year we ended up at the bar by 4 o clock as gave up trying to get on track. Will be very busy this year with people booking up for redline tickets to get them on their cards for the year. i have 28 free laps to get on.

I've been a few times over the years in April. The weather has ranged from thick fog and 2 degrees to 22 degrees of pure sunshine. As with all of the weather questions on here, wait until you get there, you can't second guess it!
