I can't believe this guy. He's like a real life version of Alan B'Stard, but I don't think it does much for Italy.

This is because, as a whole, the voters would much rather have him than anything like the last socialist coalition - he is regarded as the lesser of two evils. Most 'normal' voters despised the last government's soft immigration policy - I am sure they'd rather vote a dead man in than left wingers. For the time being, at least - from what I have been told..

Bit like Bush though. When the alternative is bloody Al Gore you can understand 50% or near as damn it of the electorate voting Bush. In fact im only surprised 99% of the electorate didnt vote Bush given the alternative.

What exactly is wrong with Berlusconi? It is an open question, he could be a thoroughly foul individual, but so far I only have the BBC's word for it which makes me inclined to think he's probably ok.

He also attracts 10/10 for lad status by defending his sexual antics with :

"Well, it's better than me being a bender."

I didn't think this was as much a vote of confidence in WOP numero uno, as not wanting the alternative as their economy is fragile.
Bonds up on vote.

Interesting to see that she got her jaw from the Desperate Dan school of plastic surgery.

While Berlusconi does much to polarise opinion, I do think the world is a better place because countries have leaders like him.

I think when the revolution comes and there needs to be a new king of the world, it should be a coalition ruler, made up of Berlusconi, Boris Johnson and Prince Philip laugh
